The Eye of the Whale / Willem and the Whale Short Films

I have been meditating with the eye of the whale as my focal point for so many years that I'd forgotten the power of looking into the eye of a real, physical whale. That is, until I recently gazed into the breathtakingly beautiful eyes of the whales seen in the short film by Kate Miller, "The Eye of the Whale."

Take a look at this short film by Kate Miller, featuring Bryant Austin, photographer, founder of the the non-profit organization Marine Mammal Conservation Through the Arts (www.mmcta.org). In my meditations, I see the energetic eye of the whale. Which whale? The one that I see looking at me, the one that seems to draw me directly into its eye and into what feels to be the sacred space of its heart, where the feeling of love is indescribable, unlike love that exists in this third-dimensional reality. It's not a love for the fearful. In my meditations, I might simply remain in that serene space and come out of it in a more balanced, harmonious state. On other occasions, I might find myself entering into an adventure, journeying into other dimensions, other worlds, in which I encounter beings with whom I feel a warm kinship. On these travels, I usually find myself in a sort of cockpit that seems a natural space between the huge lobes of the whale's brain. There, I have a 270 degree panorama of whatever is visible from the eye of the whale. It's quite awesome.

I now know this whale to be Aumiulus, a blue whale that has both a physical body presence here in Lemurian waters and an energetic or etheric body, which I see in meditation.
