2011 Lemurian Whale Welcome Ceremony

2011 Lemurian Whale Welcome Ceremony
Feb 19, 2011, Saturday, 5:30 p.m. - 6:15 p.m.
China Walls, Portlock, Oahu

Join us for the 2011 Humpback Whale Welcome Ceremony and Meditation to honor the humpback whales in Lemurian waters for their annual mating and birthing season. It will be held at China Walls, a popular local spot for fishing and diving near Hawaii Kai.

China Walls is situated within the Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary, so bring your binoculars and enjoy viewing humpback whale mothers and calves, and possibly a few dolphins, in the deep waters below.

To get there, park on the street at the end of Hanapepe Loop, take the trail adjacent to 11 Hanapepe Loop to reach China Walls. It is a steep dirt trail that takes 5-10 minutes to reach the rock walls, where the meditation will be held. Sunblock and a hat is recommended.

Bring your love and blessings to honor the whales and dolphins. Please send your love if you can only join us in thought and spirit.
